RC modellers only, must live within a 20 mile radius of RAF Barkston Heath, to be eligible to join the Grantham and District Model Aircraft Society.

Gar Turbine powered aircraft must be at or below 25kg with fuel to fly at RAF Barkston Heath.

New members with BMFA Achievement Certificates will be required to fly with a committee member before they may fly solo.

Annual membership runs from January 1st to December 31st.

The club requires that all pilots MUST have current BMFA insurance. NO EXCEPTIONS...!

All new members will be subject to a one year probation period during which they may be asked to leave.

We offer several ways of payment, Bank Transfer/Direct Debit, Cash and Cheques (payable to "Grantham and District Model Aircraft Society")

Membership renewals MUST be paid by 31st Jan, with NO EXCEPTIONS. Renewal fees can also be paid at the AGM.

Subscriptions for 2022 are as follows:-

Junior members must be escorted at all times by a Parent/Guardian, NO EXCEPTIONS...!

A one-time "joining fee" is payable upon first joining or if you are rejoining after Jan 31st.

If you have not renewed by the 31st January your membership will lapse and you will have to apply to join as a new member and may incur the joining fee, this will be at the committee's discretion.

The BMFA offers reduced rates for members joining later in the year, please contact us for details or look on their website.

All applications for membership are subject to the approval of the committee.
